Eclectus - Murphy And Oscar - Medium - Adult - Male - Bird
Murphy (left) is a gorgeous male Eclectus, and Oscar (right) is a male Alexandrine Parakeet. Both are friendly and very sweet. They have been together since they were hatched in January of 1998 so we would like them to be adopted together. They step up very well and are happy to go to most people they meet.
Murphy and Oscar love to hang out on their tree stand during the day, and they sleep in a large dual stack cage at night or when they are home alone. Both are very well-behaved and are pretty quiet (for parrots). Murphy and Oscar both talk, although they are mostly closet talkers (they don’t talk with an audience around). They frequently say "bye bye" in a very sweet child's voice. When the house is quiet they say lots of other phrases but don’t speak much with an audience except to say "bye bye." Oscar does a great Stevie Wonder impression (usually when he is a little nervous about a new situation).
These two friends MUST be adopted together since they are strongly bonded. They both enjoy a pellet variety diet along with lots of table food. Of course, they like birdie bread and a little seed treat too!
Their 36”W x 70”H x 28”D cage and nice big manzanita tree stand can be purchased along with them for an additional $200.
