Tabby - Orange - Kanga And Roo - Medium - Young - Male - Cat
Kanga & Roo
This adorable brother and sister duo were found as strays living on the streets of St. Louis. Their litter mates were caught at 8 weeks of age and were taken to a rescue group in the area. The kind ladies trapping their siblings did not know that Kanga and Roo were there because they were hiding, so they were inadvertently left behind. They survived another 2 1/2 weeks on their own before anyone found them. Both were terribly skinny and extremely hungry and dehydrated. Kanga was in the worst shape - he was very emaciated, anemic, and had a horrible upper respiratory infection. We honestly weren't sure if he would make it. Thanks to the combined efforts of St. Louis Feral Cat Outreach, Snuggle and a guardian angel named Ronda, they are now doing fantastic and are thriving, happy kittens. Kanga is the darker orange tabby boy and is the most active and outgoing of the two. He LOVES to play and explore and is just as sweet as can be. He is your typical boy kitty - chases toys, wrestles with his sister, and enjoys being pet and cuddled. Roo is the buff classic tabby female and is very docile and sweet. She is more timid and shy than her brother, but she warms up very quickly. She is quite docile and likes to be held and snuggled. She purrs non-stop just as soon as you pet her and she also enjoys having her belly rubbed. Both kitties would do great with other cats and may be okay with a cat-friendly dog that is respectful of their boundaries. Kanga would do great with kids, but Roo would need a quieter home with older children since she is more shy. They have been spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, up-to-date on vaccinations, and treated for parasites. Kanga is tag # 7782JB and Roo is tag # 7783JB.
