The stair lift is a total of 14'9 long, spans 14 stairs. Lift comes in 3 sections 8', 4'7 and 2' 2 the chair attached to the smallest unit. It is easy to assemble in perfect working order, used only for 12-18 months, works on the left side of the stair case. This was a life saver for us.
