Quarterhorse - Fancy - Medium - Adult - Female - Horse
Fancy was rescued with 30 plus horses from a horrible home. She was severely neglected. Her hooves had years of growth causing them to push her legs back and out of balance. It was painful for her to walk. She also was very scared of people. Luckily she is an extremely smart mare and quickly learned to be caught, accept a halter and walk on a lead. She accepted the farrier trimming her grossly long hooves once she understood that we weren't going to hurt her.
Fancy has the potential to grow up to her name. We have started her make over and we are looking for a home to continue working with her. She is a beautiful and well put together mare. She is now friendly and eager to greet visitors.
Update September 2011: Fancy has been started in LRR's training program. Call or visit for updates.
Update November 2011: Fancy is an awesome mare! She is a completely new horse from when she arrived at the Ranch. Fancy is very smart and quiet. She learns so quickly that you only have to reinforce a behavior once and she has it down. If you come out to the Ranch and meet her in person, we think you will fall in love with her.
