Quarterhorse - Twiggy - Medium - Senior - Female - Horse
Twiggy is a palomino mare with a flaxen mane and tail. She is very sweet and loves people. She was rescued from a horrible situation where she was severely malnourished and suffering from painful sharp points on her teeth. Since Twiggy is older she doesn't have many functional teeth left and she can not eat normal hay. She eats alfalfa chops and senior feed. She can graze on grass but isn't able to digest the grass and ends up dropping most of it. She can not have access to hay because she could choke since she can't chew it.
Twiggy is looking for a retirement home that will treat her right. She gets along well with other horses and people. She can only be ridden lightly because of her age. She would benefit from learning some softness so that maybe a kid could ride her and be able to control her.
